Lawnscaping Challenge: Texture: Wedding Gown card (10/07/2012)

I am submitting this card for the current Lawnscaping Challenge, which is Texture!

I used some textured/embossed pink paper for the background and the dress, some tulle, and pearls.  Lots of dimension on this card.  Let's say HEY shall we:

I used Lawn Fawn's Happily Ever After set for the dress and the sentiment.  I stamped out the dress on the textured paper and heat embossed it with black embossing powder.  I fussy cut it out, and layered gathered and dyed tulle over it.  I dyed the tulle with Distress Ink.  I colored teeny tiny pearls with copic markers and adhered them to the tulle on the skirt.

Here is a closeup:

I stamped the sentiment on the textured paper, also heat embossed it with black embossing powder, matted it and then cut it into a banner and adhered it with pop-dots.

All-in-all, a lot of texture, and very dimensional.  It was fun to make.

Thanks for stopping by, have a magical day!

Chris
