Lawnscaping Challenge: Texture "Reach for the Sky" card

Today's card is a submission for the current Lawnscaping Challenge, which is TEXTURE:

This challenge involves adding texture into projects. So, I scraplifted from myself, and made a card with dry and heat embossing, hemp cord, and paper sanding.  It was kinda fun!  Let's check it out:

I created a card from black cardstock.  I created a panel from a Coredinations paper (black outer, with green core), and dry embossed it with my Cuttlebug Bamboo folder.  Then, I started sanding, to remove the black outer paper and released the green core paper.

I matted the black/green coredination paper with green and tied some Lawn Fawn Vivid Triple Pack Cord Lawn Trimmings. This hemp cord is really easy to use and holds it shape.  I made a bow and kinda curled the ends too.

I cut another green panel and stamped the sentiment from Lawn Fawn's Sunny Skies with versa mark ink and heat embossed it with black detail embossing powder.

So, there are several kinds of texture here even though it is subtle.  I hope you enjoyed it!

Thanks for stopping by, have a magical day!

Chris
