Miss You (12/09/2013)

This card is for a friend - I was missing her, so I made this card, inspired by a silhouette card I saw on Lawn Fawn's blog, which you can see at:
http://lawnfawn.blogspot.com/2013/08/cha-links-card-from-christy.html

I partial die cut a dog from Lawn Fawn's Critters at the Dog Park, and the pine tree from Critters in the Forest Lawn Cuts.  I also stamped, colored and cut out the dragon fly from Critters in the Forest  stamp set too.

I colored the background with Distress Inks.

Thanks for stopping by, have a magical day!

Happy Birthday (12/08/2013)

Another card I made a while back for a friend's birthday.  Let's say Howdy shall we?

I used an assortment of Lawn Fawn (MY FAVORITE STAMP COMPANY!!!) stamp sets for this card.  I used Flutter By for the flowers, Blissful Botanicals for the foliage, and Blissful Botanicals Lawn Cuts to cut them out with!  I also used the You've Got Mail stamp set for the postcard and stamp.  The sentiment is from Happy Everything set, which truly does cover everything :)

And, I used Distress Inks to color the panel on the front, and also colored panels for the inside so it was easier to write the message.

Thanks for stopping by, have a magical day!

Thanks for being my friend! card (12/08/2013)

Here is another silhouette card.  Another card inspired by the Lawn Fawn blog, which you can check out at:
http://lawnfawn.blogspot.com/2013/08/cha-links-card-from-christy.html

I used Lawn Fawn's Critters at the Dog Park stamp set for the sentiment and the coordinating Critters at the Dog Park Lawn Cuts die cuts to make the silhouette of the doggie.

I masked a negative circle, used Distress Inks to make the sun, then covered it up with a circle mask, and used Distress Inks to color the sky.  Then, I partial die cut the doggie on a piece of black paper, and then free hand cut the hill around the base of the doggie.  Layered it all up, and used silver embossing powder on the sentiment.

I also used Lawn Fawn's Stitched Journaling Card Lawn Cuts and die cut a sweet little heart.  Added some clear Wink of Stella gel pen for sparkle, and then covered it with crystal effects glue to give it some dimension.

I Ruff You! card (12/08/2013)

This 'lil card is a silhouette!  I LOOOOVE this!  And, I did a partial die-cut so that the black paper is one piece, with the doggie silhouette and the hill.

My card was inspired by a card I saw on Lawn Fawn's blog, which you can see at:

This makes me smile!

I HEART U card (12/08/2013)

This card is another simple, to the point, card.

I inlaid the "I," "Heart," and "U" in the red circle's negative space.  I used Lawn Fawn's Cole's ABCs Lawn Cuts, Hearts Lawn Cuts, and Silver Sparkle Single Cord.  I added a swipe of clear Wink of Stella pen to make some sparkle.

Simple, easy, fast, and it says what it is :)  I hope you like it.

Inlaid I HEART U Circle Card (12/08/2013)

This little card is sweet and to the point:

I used Lawn Fawn's Cole's ABCs Lawn Cuts, and the Hearts Lawn Cuts to make the shapes.  I inlaid the same shapes, cut from pink and white paper into the red negative space to inlay the sentiment.  I tied a sweet bow with Lawn Fawn's Silver Sparkle Single Cord hemp twine.

I finished it off with a few swipes of clear Wink of Stella pen for the sparkle on the heart.

Sending Dog Park Love (12/08/2013)

This card I made a while back.  I made a card for a friend, who loves dogs, to let her know we were all thinking of her during a recent struggle.  There were seven of us in our group, so I made sure I had seven doggies on the card :)  Let's say hello shall we?

I used Lawn Fawn's Critters at the Dog Park stamp set for the pups, the bones, tennis ball, etc., but also used the dragon fly from Critters in the Forest stamp set, since my friend loves dragon flies!  I also used Home Sweet Home for the sweet little house up on the hill.

I decorated up the inside too:

The inside has more doggies, and more dragon flies!  I added some stickles to the dragon fly wings, and attached some dragon flies onto a spiral of acetate - they "float and fly" when you open the card!

Thanks for stopping by, have a magical day!

Critters in the Sea B-day Card (12/08/2013)

Today's card makes me so happy!  I was inspired by Yainea's Interactive Spinning Critters in the Sea card on Lawn Fawn's blog.  My Mom love dolphins, and when I saw Yainea's card, I just had to make a similar card for my Mom.  I changed the dolphin "swim path" from a circle to more of a wave, like the dolphin was racing along the top of the water and jumping out.

I used Lawn Fawn's Critters in the Sea stamp set, which is one of my favorites!  I stamped out the critters and seaweed, and colored everything with Copic markers.  I also used the Wink of Stella clear pen on the dolphin to give him a little extra sparkle.

I used some embossing folders to give the water some bubble texture, and the bottom of the sea some sandy texture.  I used Distress Inks to add some color to the water and sand respectively.

I also stamped out the "happy birthday" sentiment in a Lawn Fawn alphabet stamp.  I hope you enjoy it :)

Thanks for stopping by, have a magical day!
