Jungle Pop-Up Birthday Card (09/30/2015)

Hi! I am kinda digging the Pop-Up Box design lately, and made this really fun Jungle Pop-Up Box for a friend's Mom's birthday. Here it is:
I used Lawn Fawn's Critters in the Jungle stamp set and matching dies. I also used Lawn Fawn's Critters on the Savanna for the lion and "roaring good birthday" sentiment. I also die cut the lion with the matching Critters on the Savanna dies
I also used Lawn Fawn's Flirty Frames and matching die cuts to cut out some frames. I also stamped them out with versamark ink and heat embossed them with white embossing powder. I also die cut out some balloons and strings using Lawn Fawn's Party Balloons.  For this balloon, I colored it with two shades of blue Copic markers, and then covered it with Wink of Stella marker. Afterwards, I covered the whole kit and kaboodle with glossy accents and made it all shiny over the sparkle.
Check out this cool elephant and his fun pink balloon - also Wink of Stella sparkled and glossy accent covered.
Here are two more balloons, and the sweet parrot from the Jungle set.
Here is the closeup of the sweet lion and his balloon. So fun!
The sparkle on this balloon!
What a silly monkey!
The back of the pop-up box card style has a small space for writing a sentiment. I stamped in a Happy Birthday sentiment and heat embossed it too, just for fun!
Here is a closeup of the stamped sentiment.
Another full shot - it is tough to photograph a pop-up box card because they are kinda big, but here is another shot of how much fun this card is, and how much it had going on!
I also made an envelope for my friend's Mom. I used Lawn Fawn's Party Animal stamp set to stamp out the balloons. I used Lawn Fawn's Owens ABCs for the letters inside the balloons. I used Lawn Fawn's Scripty Sayings for the balloon string.
My friend's mom really enjoyed this card. I hope you enjoyed it too!

Thanks for stopping by, have a magical day!

  1. What a great idea . I have 2 grandsons who are lego mad so may well put this idea to the test. I will need to do curves though so may be a little more difficult. Your cards look absolutely great.. I know sometime you will need it. Just bookmark the wedding pop-up cards to your website.. If you want to find a pop-up cards supplier, dont forget them.
