Star Thank You Card

Hi! Today's card is a card I made to honor one of my team mates who is leaving to new adventures. He works for our STAR program, so I just had to use stars in it ... and I used some OLD Lawn Fawn and some NEW Lawn Fawn, so it was perfect for the current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge (Something Old, Something New) too! Let's check out the card.

Supply List:
Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel
Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel Shooting Star Add-On
Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel Sentiments
Lawn Fawn Gleeful Garden and dies
Lawn Fawn Puffy Star Stackables
Lawn Fawn Lucky Stars
Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Rainbow 6x6 pack
Sprinkle N Sprinkle Sparkle embossing powder
Sparkle N Sprinkle Blue Ribbon embossing powder
Sparkle N Sprinkle Tangy Tangerine embossing powder
Sparkle N Sprinkle Royal Purple embossing powder
Sparkle N Sprinkle Red Apple embossing powder
Sparkle N Sprinkle Palm Green embossing powder
Versamark ink [VM-001]
Versafine Onyx Black ink [VF-82]
Anti Static Bag [99512]
Memento Tuxedo Black ink [ME-900]
Tonic Tangerine machine [138e]
Tonic Easy Clean Craft Mat [1514e]

I die cut out some stars in yellow cardstock, using the Lawn Fawn Puffy Star Stackables die and my Tonic Tangerine machine. I stamped out the stars with sentiments from the Reveal Wheel Sentiments stamp set, using Versamark ink, and then sprinkled on embossing powders and heat set them. I used Sparkle N Sprinkle's Blue Ribbon, Tangy Tangerine, Royal Purple, Red Apple, and Palm Green embossing powders. I also die cut out the components to the Reveal Wheel and the Reveal Wheel Shooting Star Add-On. I die cut a circle from a piece of Lawn Fawn's Perfectly Plaid Rainbow paper, which I adhered to my "spinner" inside the Reveal Wheel. This way, the star changes colors! So fun.

Here is another "spin" on the reveal wheel with a different colored star!

I stamped out some snails, the flower, and the grass from the Gleeful Gardens stamp set. I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink, then colored the images with Copic markers. Then, I stamped them again (cuz I was using my Tim Holtz Stamp Platform and could over-stamp in exactly the same spot!), using Versafine Black Onyx ink. I sprinkled on some Sparkle embossing powder and heat set it. This made the images have some sparkly shine to the outlines.

For the inside of the card, I stamped out a sentiment from Lawn Fawn's Lucky Star stamp set. I also stamped stars around the edges too.

This was a fun card to make, and it was really fun to mix some old Lawn Fawn with some new Lawn Fawn. Their newest release is AMAZING!

Thanks for stopping by. Have a magical day!

-Chris
