I love snow globes, and when I saw the new Lawn Fawn Ready, Set, Snow, I just had to use it to make a card. Here it is:
I also thought it was perfect for the current Lawnscaping Challenge: #121 Winter Wonderland.
I stamped out the images, colored them, and die cut them with matching dies. I also used liquid glue and added in Sparkle N Sprinkle's Crystal Ice Semi-transparent Glitter G1058 on the eaves, and a retired tinsel glitter on the snow banks.
One of my favorite things about this stamp set is the reindeer pulling the sleigh. I placed these over the village scene, and found the itty bittiest red bead and glued it to Rudolph's nose.
The overall front of the card also had a strip of glitter anchoring the snow globe to the page. I used a strip of Sparkle N Sprinkle's 1/2" Double Sided "Tear-ific" Tape SAT04. I peeled off the backing and taped it across the front of the card. Then, I peeled off the front release paper and burnished in Sparkle N Sprinkle's Gypsy Red Velvet Glitter (microfine) GM2005.
I also made a matching envelope to go with this card.
This was a fun card to make.
Thanks for stopping by, have a magical day!
Chris
