Cardz 4 Galz Challenge #64: Think Pink Sweetest Card [02.01.2018]

My card today for the current Cardz 4 Galz Challenge (#64: Think Pink!) is PINK with some pink, more pink, and extra pink sprinkles! Let's check it out!

Supply List:
Lawn Fawn Sweet Friends stamp set
Lawn Fawn Scalloped Rectangles Stackables die
Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables dies
Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Rainbow Petite paper
Sparkle N Sprinkle Gold Detail embossing powder
Sparkle N Sprinkle Heliotrope embossing powder
Sparkle N Sprinkle Amour embossing powder
Sparkle N Sprinkle Pink Lady embossing powder
Sparkle N Sprinkle Pink Fizz glitter
Nuvo Smooth Precision Glue Pen
Versamark ink
Tonic Tangerine machine
3-D Crystal Lacquer
Tim Holtz Distress Inks
Prismacolor pencils
White Signo pen

I die cut out the rectangle and scalloped frame using Lawn Fawn's Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables and Scalloped Rectangles Stackables dies with my Tangerine die cutting machine. I ink blended some pink distress ink to the outside of the rectangle. Then, I positioned the donut, swirl, and cupcake stamps from Lawn Fawn's Sweet Friends stamp set in my Tim Holtz Stamp Platform and stamped them with Versamark ink. I sprinkled on Sparkle N Sprinkle's Gold Detail embossing powder and heat set it. Then, I colored the images with Prismacolor pencils, and swiped on some Nuvo Glitter pen to give some extra sparkle. Then, I stamped on the little sprinkles on the donut and the cupcake with Versamark. For the donut, I sprinkled on Sparkle N Sprinkle's Amour embossing powder and heat set it. Then, I covered the icing on the donut with 3-D Crystal Lacquer and let it dry. This gave a lot of shine to the donut frosting! I also rolled some Nuvo Smooth Precision Glue Pen along the stitched line of the rectangle and sprinkled on Sparkle N Sprinkle's Pink Fizz glitter. Anything and everything for extra sparkle and pink goodness!

For the cupcake, I also stamped on the sprinkles, and used Pink Lady embossing powder from Sparkle N Sprinkle to add some texture to the frosting. I covered the frosting as well with 3-D Crystal Lacquer and let it dry. So fun!

The swirl cup didn't get any extra sprinkles. But it got a coating of 3-D Crystal Lacquer too, after being colored with Prismacolor pencils. I also stamped out the sentiment with Versamark ink and sprinkled on Sparkle N Sprinkle's Heliotrope embossing powder! I swiped some white Signo Gel Pen under the sentiment to help make it stand out against the background and separate it from the sweet treats a bit.

I LOVE pink ... it is definitely one of my signature colors. This was a really fun card to make, and I love all the sparkle and the pink colors and shades. I can't wait to see what you create and share for this challenge!

Thanks for stopping by. Have a magical day!

-Chris
