You Are Awesome Crazy Dog Wobble Card {02.20.2017}

Hello! Today's card is a card I made for my nephew. I sent him a gift card, and this was the card I created to send him his gift. Let's check it out!

I stamped out one of Tim Holtz's Crazy Dogs and some accessories. I colored the images with Copic markers, then stamped them again in black ink (using a stamp positioner) and sprinkled on Clear Detail embossing powder from Sparkle N Sprinkle, and heat set it. I often do this, adding the embossing powder after coloring, since alcohol-based markers and embossing powder don't like each other. This way, I get a nice stamped image that I color, and also have some embossing as well.

I created a card with a 1/2" dimension to it and cut out the front panel. I die cut a scalloped rectangle frame as well. I die cut a circle and hill, and mounted the dog and accessories on the circle. I mounted the circle onto an Action Wobble and adhered that to the background, which I had ink blended over some puffy cloud die images. The cloud background is hard to see in these photos because I took the photos in bright sunlight. But, it is really cool in real life.

Since I was sending him a gift card, I created a little gift card envelope pocket and mounted it inside the card. I also stamped a sentiment with versamark ink and heat set Sparkle N Sprinkle's Platinum embossing powder.

I hope my nephew enjoys this card. I feel I am masculine-card challenged, but this one was a lot of fun.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a magical day!

-Chris
