Pink Butterfly Card for Mom [#06/52] {02.10.2017}

Hi! Today's card for Mom uses patterned paper and die cuts, and NO STAMPING! Sometimes ya just gotta not stamp. Let's check out this card.

I created a top-folding card base with pink cardstock. Then I cut some patterned paper to make a card panel, and distress inked the edges. I cut a smaller piece for the card focal point, and also distressed the edges. Then, I fussy cut some flowers and leaves from a corner, and layered them on top of the card focal piece. Everything was layered up with foam tape for dimension. I also cut out a solid butterfly and an intricate butterfly using dies from coordinating patterned paper. I also inked up these edges.

I raided my stash for some bling and used it to make a bit of a trail for the butterfly.

This card came together pretty quickly. I love patterned paper, but I don't use it enough. I challenged myself to use some up with this card, and I really like the result. A card that can be used for almost any situation, using some gorgeous paper. And, who doesn't love butterflies and bling!?!

Thanks for stopping by. Have a magical day!
