Sparkle N Sprinkle's Stella Happy Meds Card [08.24.2016]

Today's card is a digital stamp from the Bugaboo line that Sparkle N Sprinkle is now carrying. I designed this card for Sparkle N Sprinkle, and it was a lot of fun! I printed out the image from Stella - Happy Meds [Digi796] and went to town. Let's check out Stella, shall we.

I printed Stella on Copic friendly white cardstock. I colored in the image, and then started adding glitter and fun things! Even though she is kinda grumpy, I wanted to make her sparkly and fun! I started out by decorating her shirt. I squeezed out some Brushable Glue [540] onto my craft mat. I brushed on the glue with a detail brush over her shirt and her eye lids (everybody needs matching eye shadow, right?!?). Here is what the glue looked like, as I applied it.

After I covered her shirt with glue, I sprinkled it with Orchid Semi-transparent Glitter [G1097] over the wet glue and let it dry before removing it. Here is what the glitter sprinkle looked like.

Here is our sweet Stella, showing her shirt and eye shadow all sparkled up. She was really fun to accessorize! I also used the Sakura Glue Pen [Quicky] to draw on some glue in her hair. And then dusted on some Sonic Silver Velvet Glitter (microfine) [GM2002] to give her hair some sparkle too!

I also accessorized some of the images and words on the card. Here is a photo of how I decorated the word "meds" ... I used the Sakura Glue Pen [Quicky] to draw on some glue, then sprinkled on Princess Elsa Frost [G1121] over the word.

I also decorated up the little pills. I colored them soft pink, so using the Sakura Glue Pen [Quicky] and the gorgeous Bubble Gum Semi-transparent Glitter [G1088] was just the right thing. Here is one of the pills. So pretty!

I created a card panel to ground my Stella card. To do this, I cut a piece of cardstock, and covered it with two strips of 2-1/2" Double sided "Tear-ific" Tape [SAT11]. I pulled off the release tape, and then sprinkled on Bridal Glitter [G1029] all over the top! I covered the bottom half with Silver Leaf [GT3004]. To divide the top from the bottom, I placed a strip of 1/4" Double sided "Tear-ific" Tape [SAT01] and added in a strip of Baby Blue Diamond Mesh. I also laid down another strip of the 1/4" Double sided "Tear-ific" Tape [SAT01] and added in some Lacy Lilac [G1033]. This added a pop of color along the edges.

This card was fun and had a lot of sparkle!
